How to Write your first business analyst resume!

Starting a new career can a scary thought. If you are about to start searching for a business analyst position, and do not have any experience, you can still put together a good resume. This will help show you how you can write a resume for a business analyst position when you have little or no experience:

#1.  Objectives.

Write out your objectives because they are very important to any position you are applying for. Be clear and use words that show you are serious about getting the job.

#2. talk about your education and skills.

Talk about graduating with a degree, but have no experience in your field it can still work. Be very clear on the education you have received and what you learned during school. You can site specific examples from classes you have taken and projects. Some  jobs demand that you have some sort of higher education and that might be enough to help you get your foot in the door.

#3. Mention experience from other jobs.

Sometimes organizations are willing to do on the job training if you are the right person for the job. Also,  A potential company can also tell a lot by just looking at your work experience and history.

#4. Say what you mean and tell the truth.

Don't  lie on your resume because if you do and an employer finds out about it, then you can get fired on the spot. You may not think so but some companies will take a chance with you and train you.

Finally:

having no experience as a business analyst is not the end of the world. Try to remember everyone starts somewhere

I will be posting more soon, but here is a real world example of a business analyst resume.
